About the Greater Amherst Area

From the Mass Pike - I 90
(coming from the east or west):
Exit onto Interstate 91 North
Follow directions below.

From Interstate 91 (N or S):
Take exit 24. At the end of the ramp, turn onto Routes 5 & 10 North. Take the next right turn onto Route 116 South. You will cross over a bridge at the Connecticut River, and then go through a traffic light in the center of Sunderland. Stay on 116 for about another two miles. There will be a rest area; 1/8 mile later, turn left onto Bull Hill Rd. Go to the end of the road, and turn left onto Route 63. Take the next right onto Depot Rd.

From Route 9 in Hadley, MA:
Take Route 116 North. At the first traffic light, turn right. At the next traffic light, turn left. The road then splits; take the right fork onto Route 63 North. In 2 miles, turn right onto Depot Rd.

Follow Depot Rd. to the stop sign, and turn left onto Amherst Rd. Then follow the road (sharp right turn). Go a short distance; at the fork in the road, stay left on Montague Rd., pass the post office. The Leverett Crafts & Arts building is about 200 yards further on the right. Park in the spaces along the building, or along the other side of the road. As you face the building, the entrance door is on the right side of the building. Walk through the gallery, through the glass doors, and our studio (#9) is on the right.
